Q&A
10 Tough Questions
As pastors, we get asked a lot of questions, some of which are pretty hard. When I first started out in ministry, a 6-year-old girl came up to me after I preached a sermon on the love of God and asked me a question that stumped me. She asked, “If God is love, does that mean he loves Satan too?” I didn’t know what to say. I was speechless. Since then, I’ve been asked loads of other difficult questions.
My desire is not only to give thoughtful answers but to guide people toward Jesus. My heart is to help people know how to follow Jesus in the midst of everyday life. The following ten questions are ones I commonly get asked but require careful nuancing and conversation. These answers are my best attempts at beginning the conversation with those I love and pastor.
