Community
Jesus didn’t intend for the church to only exist on a Sunday. It’s about sharing life together. We gather during the week around the table building deeper relationships with one another in order to be the people of Jesus in our neighborhoods. Communities are the primary way we follow Jesus, his way of life, and do life around a table. We believe community is central to what it means to be a disciple of Jesus.
Community Basics
The first step in joining a PKC Community is going through Community Basics. This class is a prerequisite to joining a community. Community Basics happens three times a year (September, January, & April). This two-part class will equip you and your group to follow Jesus together. We will walk you through our discipleship pathway, our theology and philosophy of discipleship, the way of life, or core beliefs, and how to follow Jesus together as a community.
